Below are informational bulletins. These will provide information about common permits and processes that require planning approval. Please read through these to gain a better understanding
of what is required of your project. Use these as a reference for procedures, timeframes and costs.
These are the primary documents you will have to fill out to submit a project to the Planning Department. Please be aware that Planning Staff will only accept complete application forms
submitted by the applicant in person with the necessary signatures and accompanied by the appropriate fee payment. The below forms are interactive. After typing in information, please print
out the applicable completed forms and submit them in person to the Planning Department.
You must make an appointment with a Planner to submit an application.
Specific Project Requirements and Questionnaires
The forms below are for specific types of projects submitted to Planning. Depending on the project, there may be
forms in addition to those provided on this page. Please contact the Planning Department to find out if you have all necessary documentation for submitting a plan.
The guidelines were created by the Santa Paula City Council and the City’s Planning Department to help applicants understand the expectations of projects being submitted to the City. These
guidelines should be followed as closely as possible to facilitate a smooth application process.
