East Area One General Plan Expansion Area

The City of Santa Paula has approved an application from the Limoneira Company for a specific plan to develop properties in the City's East Area One General Plan Expansion Area. On Tuesday June 3, 2008, the voters of Santa Paula approved Measure G, an initiative measure amending the City Urban Restriction Boundary (CURB) and approving an intensification of use in accordance with Santa Paula General Plan Sections III (G) ("SOAR") and III (F) ("Citizens Advocating Responsible Expansion Initiative").

The City of Santa Paula City Council and Planning Commission on February 26, 2008 approved the project's proposed specific plan and the project's Environmental Impact Report.

Planning Commission:

Resolution 3612 – This Resolution includes background information, findings and recommended actions as it relates to the certification of the FEIR, adoption of the Facts & Findings, Statement of Overriding Considerations and MMRP (previously described above).

Resolution 3613 – This Resolution includes background information, findings and recommended actions as it relates to the General Plan Amendments, Specific Plan/Prezoning, Growth Management Allocations, Development Agreement, and Application for Annexation (previously described above).
