Newsy Items on Tonight's Santa Paula City Council Agenda
1. Consider next steps with initiative petition to include Adams
Canyon within the City's Urban Restriction Boundary. The City received
confirmation from the County that sufficient signatures had been
received. If all else is determined to be in order by the City Clerk,
then the City Council is expected on January 17 to consider calling a
special election for the initiative.
2. Consider donation of 77 acres of Santa Clara River from the City
to the Nature Conservancy for future wetlands protection.

On the adams thing - I heard that it is asking for a lot fewer homes than last time. Is that true?
How many homes on how many acres?
How many homes on how many acres?
If the "Massa" permits,let's do
Adams as long as 'Massa' doubles
everything,Parks,Education,etc.
Let's build an Ampitheatre to
rival Hollywood,let us build a
Golf Course,Holy Coyote can I
hear an Amen?
Let the City Of Santa Paula
walk into Adams like a shepherd
with no fold, and walk out with
a sh#%*&@#d of gold.
Now that Fagan is in our hand,
let us make Adams give tribute
to our demands.

I was hoping someone would give me some facts about Adams. I hear that it is less than 1/4 of what the General Plan calls for right now. And would provide a road for Fagan traffic so it would not come through downtown.
So instead of waiting for more than 2000 plus homes, is it true that we only would get less than 500. And then lot's of goodies as they are desperate.
I say take advantage of the Adams weakness and run with it
Also can someone help me with facts not some crazy ranting of "Massa" - that does not help anyone.
This is our city - lets think not emote.

You know Adams Canyon is more
than just another canyon in
SoCal.It's the place that pro-
duced the first "Oil Gusher"
in American History outside
of the 'Pennsylvania Oil Fields'
pioneered by Drake,the first in
American History.It gushed more
than three days before some
wildcatter got it under control
and made it one of the first commercially viable oil wells
in California History.
C'mon people!Santa Paula has
a lot of hidden gems, don't blow
it on cheap houses and low rent!

The hills and canyons need high end homes on very large parcels, save the low income houses for development within the city. Start ripping out the gang infested, drug infested, run down houses, and rip out the entire block. Everyone in this town knows where they are! Start from scratch build up maybe a nice three story condo like unit similar to what is going up in valencia. But dont just build a box, give it some design style, and uder ground parking to keep the streets clear. You can house a lot more low income people, and save the hills and canyons for what is appropriate, large high end houses. kinda like killing two birds with one stone!
