The City of Santa Paula wants to show pride in recognizing
the brave men and women who are serving our county in the Armed
Forces. In showing
our appreciation and respect, Santa Paula sponsors an Armed Forces
Banner Recognition Program. If you know a resident who is currently serving
in the military, the City will create a banner in their honor.
In order to receive a banner, an application needs to be completed by
a family member or friend. Applications are available at City Hall
or here (PDF document).
The
banners are displayed along 10th Street.
The deadline for receiving names for the next set of banners is October
2, 2009.
The banners are free of charge to recognize the servicemember. The City
is accepting donations from sponsors to help fund the program. Contributions
can be sent to:
